Welcome to Queensland 2024!

We’ve been waiting a while to welcome you back to Queensland. But rest assured the wait has been worth it!

We’ve invited fabulous teachers and musicians from Australia and overseas and we have put together a week of fun, food, music and dance.

So please join us at the Gatton Campus of the University of Queensland in the beautiful Lockyer Valley from 7 – 14 July 2024 for the 47th Australian Winter School.

The sprawling campus dates back to 1897 and contains many historic buildings. It’s home to teaching and research facilities in agricultural, environmental and veterinary sciences as well as working dairy, pig and crop farms.

The Lockyer Valley is the traditional land of the Yuggera and Ugarapul people. We acknowledge the cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and pay respect to Elders past and present.

Key dates:

  • 1 October 2023 – registrations open
  • 5 May 2024– balance of payment due
  • 7 – 14 July 2024: Winter School 2024
