Travel to Gatton

The University of Queensland (UQ) Gatton Campus is located on the Warrego Highway about 85 km west of Brisbane and 5 km east of Gatton.

There are many ways to get to there.

Registration will open at 2.00 pm on Sunday 7 July 2024. Our winter school program will kick off at 5.00 pm with an off-site BBQ. If you’re keen to be there from the start, please factor this into your travel arrangements.

By car:

From Brisbane airport: 97 km (1 hour 10 minutes depending on traffic conditions)

By coach
Greyhound and Murrays coaches run between Brisbane and Gatton campus (campus entrance on the Warrego Highway) several times each day. Timetables, maps and fare information are on:

By rail/bus
A rail-bus service runs between Brisbane and Gatton.

From Brisbane, catch an Ipswich-Rosewood-line train to Rosewood Station, then transfer onto Translink bus 539 to the centre of Gatton campus. The journey takes about 2 hours.

Winter School Bus
Coach transport from Brisbane airport and CBD to Gatton may be offered depending on demand. Cost TBA.
