Travel to Gatton

The University of Queensland (UQ) Gatton Campus is located on the Warrego Highway about 85 km west of Brisbane and 5 km east of Gatton.

There are many ways to get to there.

Registration will open at 2.00 pm on Sunday 7 July 2024 in the Foundation Building at the University of Queensland Gatton Campus. Meals (full board) will be served at the Dining hall and accommodation will be in Pitt Hall.

Here is the official map of the UQ Gatton Campus. It is a warren of buildings; the dining hall is shown as orange, Pitt Hall is nearby and the Foundation building is on C12.

Travelling by Car:

Here is a simplified MUD-MAP to make it easier to find your way to our accommodation in Pitt Hall. We will set up signposts at some inter sections, too.

Morning classes will be at various halls in the district. Here is simple MAP showing Gatton and surrounds. Venue addresses will be published in our WS 24 welcome booklet.

From Brisbane airport: 97 km (1 hour 10 minutes depending on traffic conditions)

Traveling by Coach:

The WS 24 has arranged for private buses to transport dancers from the Brisbane airport and CBD to the UQ Gatton Campus. Details are in our Newsletter No 7; click Here to read.

Commercial Greyhound and Murrays coaches run between Brisbane and Gatton campus (campus entrance on the Warrego Highway) several times each day. Timetables, maps and fare information are on:
